Our open expeditions begin in the picturesque town of Braemar, just an hour and 30 minute’s drive from Aberdeen. With good public transport links the village is easy to reach. Braemar has a small supermarket for basic produce, a mountain equipment shop, restaurants, and cafés.

Following your initial day’s training and route planning, the rest of your expedition will take place in the stunning wilderness of the National Park, rich with flora, fauna and history, giving you the opportunity to see many iconic Scottish species.
