We team individuals and small teams together to complete their expedition and, with the support of our friendly instructors, ensure participants have a fun and safe expedition!

2024 Expedition Dates:
Wednesday 29th May to Saturday 1st June
Wednesday 30th August to Saturday 2nd September

Participants can join days 1 and 2 if they only need a training expedition or days 3 and 4 if they only need a qualifying expedition.

Day 1 – Teams work through the DofE training framework with sessions on tents, kit and food, maps, first aid and trangias.
Day 2 – Navigation training day. Teams will develop their navigation skills. By the end of the day teams will be self sufficient and walking under remote supervision. Participants taking part in a training expedition only will leave on return to campsite.
Day 3 – Qualifying expedition takes place under remote supervision with teams check pointed along their route.
Day 4 – Teams are checkpointed along their route until they arrive at their finish point. Teams will receive a debrief and hand in team kit.
