This expedition trains participants in the skills required to undertake their Silver Canoeing Qualifying expedition.

Most of day 1 is spent on the water with one of our qualified coaches, getting to grips with paddling a canoe. Whether a complete novice or a competent paddler, this should be an enjoyable day on the water learning or developing paddling skills. An early arrival at camp allows participants to refresh their campcraft skills, commencing their 2 day 2 night practice expedition.

Day 2 will be spent on the water closely supervised by the coach. When meeting the coach, there will be sessions focusing on caring for each other on the water.

The final day will then be remotely supervised by the coach.

The cost of this expedition includes all paddling equipment (such as boats, buoyancy aids, paddles, and drybags), group equipment (such as tents, stoves, and first aid kits), campsite fees and supervision throughout the expedition.
